With attendance of more than 30.000 people the event saw another increase of 10% maybe as a result of global advertisers looking for new insights into the digital marketing. Some of the digital trends spoken about at the event range from: data- how can businesses quickly and efficiently use it in order to drive better results for their business, mobile- it can be a catalyst for digital transformation however the app revolution can give it a run for its money, however the main topics which seemed to dominate conversation were Ad blocking and measurement shortcomings. There was also talk of opportunities in fast-growing markets such as Africa, and there was also some general about the promise of better consumer targeting and on solving the problems that are currently plaguing ad and marketing technology.
